I really adore this woman’s illustration style. Bella Pilar’s fashionable watercolors and whimsical, exhuberant flair create unforgettable illustrations. I like that they’re sophisticated without being too serious. Her work has appeared in advertising, magazines, public relations, fashion and the web. Clients include Macy’s and CosmoGIRL. I know you guys are absolutely going to love his work too: Meet Rastin, self taught fashion illustrator! His sketches below are the result of training from books. A word from him: “I work as a Web Application Architecht. I have a B.Sc. in Computer Science. Other studies I have done include Marketing, Art History, Visual Design, and believe it or not 3 years of Dentistry! My main hobbies are Photography, Fashion Illustration, Reading, Graphic Design, and Software Development.” His linework is so magnificent, its hard to believe that he has taught himself the hard way, without tutorship. This is a lesson to the rest of us, practice makes perfect!

She lists herself on her blog as :”Cree A.” no first names, her Location:Paris, France. She’s an American Graphic Designer and fashion student living and working in Paris. Currently studying draping and patternmaking at the “Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne” and Fashion Illustration at Parsons Paris. What a romantic sounding place! I really admire her drawing skills, these illustrations above are her “quick draw sketches” during practice.

Fashion illustrator Eduard Erlikh is truly amazing!. He truly seems to capture the graceful essence of fashion, his work is so sophisticated. I realy like the use of simple lines and vivacious color pairings. He has mastered the art of illustrating the female form. Wouldnt it be nice to have these illustration on postcards or prints for your walls? I love how he depicts the fashion figure as a silhouette with very little detail, but draws the handbag with intricate patterns and linework!
