I think I’ve found one of my favourite fashion illustrators as far as technique is concerned. I had an old image of hers on the Illustration Tips page, and she contacted me with some more images. Her use of colour and shading is amazing, the faces are drawn to perfection, I think its done with watercolours. That is hard to achieve with such a medium. She gave me some of her newest work, I hope she’ll send us some more:

I absolutely fell in love with this artist’s stylized drawings! The realism achieved, the colouring and attention to detail are this artist’s most outstanding qualities. I found these guys on the internet, I absolutely love their style. The backbreaking poses and elongated limbs of the fashion figures are so eye-catching. Its digitally drawn, but it seems to have a handmade quality too. Their name is: Wacker eins ! They are based in Istanbul & Berlin. They are an illustration based team selling their work to advertising agencies and fashion or trend magazines. Ive found two quirky designers this week, one of them is Josy. She works from a variety of sources including sketches and photographs. When she works on an actual fashion collection she’d use images collected from either the internet or magazines for colour, texture and details. Everything else is a mixture of her imagination and memory. Her favourite way to work is with a concoction of acrylic paint, marker pens, collage and Photoshop. She also loves to work on textured backgrounds especially ripped up newspapers and tissue paper.
